“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet,” quote William Shakespeare. Well, he wasn’t wrong. Shakespeare knew what he was talking about. With a brand new name, Bonvera is thrilled to launch a rebrand of our education program now called New Way MBA. This new name holds a renewed mission and vision for Bonvera’s education program that we’re excited to share with you today.
Why Learning Is So Important to Us
Here at Bonvera, we’re a family, and we’re a community of thousands of entrepreneurs from all over the U.S. One of our core values is learning. Our opportunity allows individuals to quit their 9-to-5 desk jobs and run their own business on their own time, so continuous learning is essential. Our entrepreneurs need resources to run their business, manage their time and grow their teams. But, that’s not the only reason why learning is so important.
The economy has changed in the past 10 years. With today’s technology, there is a shift to part-time jobs in the new age “gig” economy. Stories of people working for companies for 15-20 years are few and far between. The rise of part-time jobs, side hustles and entrepreneurial opportunities has been significant in recent years. Our CEO Bob Dickie is an expert in this area having written several books on the subject including Love Your Work: 4 Practical Ways to Pivot to Your Best Career and The Leap: How to Launch Your Full-Time Career in Our Part-Time Economy. We mention all of this because these changes in our economy have revealed that to stay at the top of your career game, continuous learning is critical. Improving your skills and knowledge with our ever-changing landscape in technology is essential to your success and your future.
It’s for this very reason that Bonvera, at its core, is a learning organization. We want to equip our entrepreneurs with the knowledge and training they need to be successful in their businesses and in their lives.
This is why, we at Bonvera, are lifelong learners.
The Story Behind the Name
As you can see, education isn’t new to Bonvera. It’s been a long standing core belief put into practice for the company and its community for years, even before the company began. With the launch of new leadership and direction in May of 2018, it was time for the education system to get a facelift too.
The team at Bonvera wanted a name that was clear, concise and easy to understand. We wanted a name that meant something to us and our community, but a name that also was relatable for others outside our community. See, here is the thing, our education program isn’t like the others. It’s a world-class education program that has some of the best content on leadership, character development, business building and entrepreneurship that doesn’t have the price tag equivalent to a postgraduate degree nowadays.
This education program is a new way of practicing entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship shouldn’t be so hard to understand or such a lonely, isolated endeavor. With the New Way MBA program, entrepreneurship is made easy to understand with a community of support and mentorship that can work for anyone and everyone.
It’s the new way to pursue your MBA.
What’s In the Program
The New Way MBA program at its core is designed to make continual education easy to integrate into your everyday life without the price tag of a college or university program. With this in mind, the New Way MBA program is a subscription-based system of education materials including digital audios, books, e-books, articles and blogs and CDs.
On a monthly subscription, these materials are either delivered electronically or physically to your door every month.
Digital audios are sent electronically each month usually with several talks from key leaders within the company or the field on various topics such as how to build your Bonvera business, how to be a person of character, how to grow your leadership skills, and so much more. These talks are typically recorded live at Bonvera training events, which are held regionally every month and nationally 3-4 times a year. (You can check out our live training events and when the next one is at www.bonvera.events!) So, if you attended that live event, heard the talk in person and thought “I want to listen to that talk again! That was so good,” you can. Or if you were unable to attend the event, it’s a great way to still benefit from the teachings and principles.
New Way MBA also has a Book of the Month subscription and our leaders hand pick a book that the entire community is going to read for that month. It’s delivered via audio or your doorstep every month. Previous titles have included Ego is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday, Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy, Captivate by Vanessa Van Edwards, The Anatomy of a Comeback by Chuck Goetschel and so many more noteworthy books that are perfect for the entrepreneur, leader or teachable spirit wanting to continue investing in their education.
How To Get Started with Your New Way MBA
Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom, a busy executive, a retired grandparent or college student, you can benefit from the New Way MBA program. Getting started is easy to do in these four simple steps.
1. Purchase your subscription to the digital audios, books, CDs, and talks delivered to you every month.
2. Attend a live Bonvera training event. We hold regional training events in Kansas, Colorado, California, Florida, Michigan, Illinois and often other locations too every month. We hold larger national training events about 3-4 times a year in one centralized location. In the past, they’ve been in cities such as Kansas City, St. Louis, Louisville and Nashville. These events are a lot of fun and a great way to connect with the community, teammates, leaders and executives from the company. Not only are you getting to hear first-hand from those who have had success in this business, but you’re also getting to interact with thousands of other entrepreneurs just like you who are trying to achieve that same kind of success. It’s an exhilarating environment when you bring together thousands of entrepreneurs together in one city for a weekend! You can find our next regional and national training events at www.bonvera.events.
3. Keep learning and share your knowledge with others. The last thing we encourage you to do is to stay consistent with your learning and education. Implement these educational goals and systems into your life. Mark down on your calendar when these events are going to be for the year and make plans to be there. Build time into your everyday life where you can continue studying, listening, and investing in your education.
4. Share this with others. Wisdom is knowledge applied. If you never apply the teachings you’ve learned, you’ll never achieve wisdom. Sharing what you’ve learned with others and putting it into practice is a part of the education process. You cement what you’ve learned into your mind and into your life’s habits when you apply this knowledge. Share what you’ve learned and others can benefit from it too.
We’re thrilled to launch the New Way MBA program. It’s an exciting and meaningful time for our community. To learn more, go to www.bonverahq.com and purchase your subscription today. Welcome to New Way MBA powered by Bonvera, the new way of continual education.
